2023 Owners & Directors Retreat

Oct. 25 – 27, 2023
Wrightsville Beach/Wilmington, NC

Hotel stay included in pricing: NCLCA has a room block at the Blockade Runner in Wrightsville Beach. Room cost (with tax) is approximately $150/night.

Oct. 25 (Wednesday) 

  • 4pm: Check-in @ the Blockade Runner
  • 4:45pm: Buses to Poplar Grove Plantation (http://poplargrove.org) for food, drinks and live music in the Barn at Poplar Grove. Dinner will be a catered Pig Pickin’ (https://www.poorpiggys.com) + beer/wine.
  • 9pm: Buses return to Blockade Runner hotel

Oct. 26 (Thursday)

  • 8am-4pm: Breakfast & lunch (hotel), plus speakers & sessions covering leadership, wellness, business vision, marketing, nurturing staff, etc.
  • 5pm: Buses depart to downtown Wilmington for "Escape Room"
  • 6:30pm: Drinks and light snacks at Front Street Brewery
  • 7:30pm: Dinner on your own downtown
  • 9pm: Buses return to Blockade Runner Hotel

Oct. 27 (Friday)

8am-1pm: Breakfast and speakers/sessions continue.

1pm: Retreat concludes/depart
