Introductory Special for non-members: Pay $375 for Full Conference, and receive a one year NCLCCA association membership. The sooner you register, the sooner you can start using your benefits! Teacher and owner/director nominations are now open! Know an excellent owner, director, or other leader in early childhood education? Nominate them for the Linda Piper - Excellence in Leadership Award! How about an exceptional teacher? Consider nominating them for the NCLCCA Excellence in Leadership -- “Exceptional Educator” Award. We will award one leader on Friday, November 2, 2018, and one Exceptional Educator on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Instructions and deadlines are linked.

  

Conference Agenda

  • Breakouts will include:
    Cultural diversity in the workplace, including children with special needs in the classroom, balancing staff costs and revenues.
  • Ask DCDEE: Understanding the newest childcare rules, how they affect you, and what lies on the horizon.
  • Ask the Anchors: RLAP experts address common concerns.
  • Luncheon with lobbyists: learn about our advocacy efforts, how to be an effective advocate for your center, and what lies ahead for childcare in North Carolina.
  • Thursday evening reception with roundtable experts: licensing, sanitation, enrollment growth, multi-site.
  • Saturday Teacher Track: social-emotional intelligence, classroom guidance, and health & safety trainings; and classroom strategies for children with learning differences (autism, sensory processing, and more).
  • Network with colleagues experiencing similar challenges, introduction of new products and services, raffle prizes, motivational keynote, photo booth, fun!
