Andrea Stogsdill is NCLCCA’s new Executive Director. In this role, she oversees and implements membership activities, conferences, member trainings, and coordinates volunteer activities. Previously, Andrea was owner and operator of Little Engine Daycare, a small center in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. In her free time, she worked with Douglas County Child Care Association, first as Secretary in 2005, then as President from 2008-2010. As President she led meetings, set up networking events among providers, and organized and led the marketing committee for the Association. She later volunteered as State Representative where she brought provider needs to the state level.

Prior to working in childcare, Andrea wrote policy profiles for a public health nonprofit, was a contract manager for a state department of health services, and did health policy research and writing. She earned her Master's degree in Public Policy and Administration in 2004 and has a Bachelor’s in Political Science.

She lives in Wake Forest with her husband and three kids, ages nine to 14. Together they enjoy trying new foods, hiking, and walking the dog.
