Assistant to the Early Childhood Education Dept for CCCTI 3 years;

Brief Course Description: This webinar will introduce participants to the NCFELD manual and how to use this resource guide in lesson planning.  A brief introduction on how the manual is laid out & brief summary of the each domain section found within the NCFELD manual.

Participants will need to have a copy of the NCFELD manual and completed lesson plan and/or a specific activity based on a specific age group.

Example of an Activity:  Self-Help Skill:  Using a Spoon

Participants will learn the following:

NCFELD is a resource guide, not a curriculum nor a developmental checklist 
Introduction to the 5 different domains found in NCFELD manual, each domain's sub-domain, what are domain goals, and developmental indicators for each domain broken down by age groups                (infants, young toddlers, older toddlers, younger preschoolers, & older preschoolers)
strategies section in each domain for infants/toddlers & preschoolers
how the age groups are broken down
steps to link NCFELD to lesson planning and how activities can fit more than one domain... EC professionals are planning with a purpose
Examples:  linking activities on their lesson plans to NCFELD


All Business Success Series Webinars are 1-hour long and receive 1 hour of DCDEE-approved training.

Upon completion of the webinar you will be emailed a link to an evaluation. Upon submission of the evaluation you'll be redirected to a quiz.  Once the 3-5 quiz questions have been answered successfully the NCLCCA office will be notified and will begin processing your training credit. You may retake the quiz a second time if needed.  You should receive an email with a link to a printable training record within 5 business days.
