Clarification Corner

How many times have you wondered about a rule interpretation, but didn't know who to ask?  Or maybe you didn't want to ask, for fear of embarrassment.   This is your opportunity to get the truth from the "experts" and also, to submit your own questions!  This is one of the most useful benefits of your NCLCCA membership! 

Here are some of the questions we've tackled, and the answers are on the next page.  Be aware, however, that you'll need your username and password to log in, in order to see the next page!  Follow the "forgot password" link if needed.

 
Sanitation Topics

• Can we return unserved milk to the kitchen for future food service?
• Can we store bleach on the floor in the kitchen if it's locked?
• Can we ask the sanitarian to come back again if it's a bad time?
• What temperature should the water in our crock pot be?
• Do infant teachers have to wear hair restraints when they prepare infant cereal?
• Are sanitation inspectors allowed to open up teacher's purses or diaper bags?
